CELL is the Center for Executive Learning and Leadership, established by the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) in Karachi to serve professionals who are already in their careers and want to keep building.
We are not a training department. We are not a short-course provider. We are a professional platform, where serious learning, industry connection, and institutional credibility come together for Pakistan’s executive community.
Our programs are designed with practitioners, delivered to curated cohorts, and anchored in one of Pakistan’s most established academic institutions. Every element of CELL has been built with one question in mind: what does a serious professional actually need from executive education right now?
CELL programs are built around a simple discipline: start with the challenge, not the curriculum.
Before a program is designed, we consult with senior professionals in the relevant sector. We ask what they are navigating, what their teams are missing, and where the real skill gaps are. The curriculum follows from that conversation, not from a generic module library.
Faculty are selected for their depth in the subject and their experience doing the work professionally. Sessions are kept small. Participants are vetted. The learning environment is designed for senior professionals, not general audiences.
IoBM was established in 1995 and has since grown into one of Pakistan’s leading business schools, offering over 30 undergraduate and graduate programs and producing more than 10,000 alumni across industries and sectors.
CELL is IoBM’s executive education expression. It operates under the leadership of IoBM’s President, Dr. Talib Syed Karim, and draws on IoBM’s faculty network, industry relationships, and institutional infrastructure.
For professionals who studied at IoBM, CELL is where the institution continues to be relevant. For those who did not, CELL is where IoBM’s credibility becomes accessible.
